Soccer Recap: Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Has No Trouble Against Manual

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Englewood, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Manual Thunderbolts 6-2. It was an even better day for Vianey Gonzalez as she scored four goals for her team.

Something new happened on Wednesday as Hayleen Godinez saw her first action of the season, playing 80 minutes against Manual. Godinez made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Manual, they dropped their record down to 1-5-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART will welcome STEM School Highlands Ranch at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manual, they will head out to take on DSST: Montview at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
