Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Port walked away with it. They came out on top against the Venice Indians by a score of 68-58 on Monday. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Port's win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Venice, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.

North Port will face off against Sarasota on Wednesday. Sarasota knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully North Port likes a good challenge. Venice does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
