Recap: Bethany Wolves vs. East Davidson Golden Eagles
After flying high against the Morehead Panthers last Friday, the Bethany Wolves came back down to earth. Bethany took a 44-28 bruising from East Davidson on Wednesday.
Haley Ricketts and Leah Denny certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Ricketts scored eight points along with three steals, while Denny scored six points. Denny has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.
Bethany's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for East Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Bethany won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ledford at 12:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Hopefully Ledford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Wednesday.
