Softball Preview: Marion Harding Presidents vs. Lexington Minutemen

Last Wednesday, Marion Harding fell victim to a rough 22-2 loss at the hands of Ontario.

Meanwhile, Lexington put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Norwalk a 2-0 shutout.

Makaree Chapman made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Chapman has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive pitching appearances. Chapman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
