Manti waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Carbon Dinos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in March.

Luis Ornelas and Tommy Bridges scored both of Manti's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Manti's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight matches. As for Carbon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Manti and Carbon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings. The Templars (ranked 27th) will meet Delta (ranked 87th) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carbon will challenge North Sanpete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (26 vs. 98).
