Baseball Recap: St. Stephen's Episcopal Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Stephen's Episcopal's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Andrew's Highlanders on Thursday. The Spartans have struggled against the Highlanders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Stephen's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for St. Andrew's, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Stephen's Episcopal will host Valor South Austin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for St. Andrew's, they will challenge Regents at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
