Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling was the 2-0 winner over Lyons when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Black Bears fell 2-0 to the Lions on Saturday. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sterling was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Lyons, their victory bumped their record up to 2-15-1.

Sterling has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against South Haven on the 27th. As for Lyons, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Ellsworth on the 27th.
