Soccer Game Preview: William Monroe vs. Rockbridge County

For the first time this season, William Monroe will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockbridge County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Thursday, William Monroe didn't have quite enough to beat Culpeper County and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Rockbridge County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Page County.

William Monroe took their win against Rockbridge County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. Will William Monroe repeat their success, or does Rockbridge County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
