Rosholt posted their closest victory since August 26th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Spencer Rockets 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won five in a row.

Morgan Nyman paced Rosholt's offense, picking up eight kills. Nyman got some help from Elizabeth Trzinski and her 18 assists. Trzinski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Rosholt now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Spencer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
