It was fun while it lasted, but Calhoun County's undefeated season came to an end after 16 games on Saturday. They took a hard 57-41 fall against the Randolph-Clay Red Devils. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Jaleen Gibson, who went 8 for 15 en route to 24 points and five boards for Randolph-Clay. Tyrion Smith was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Calhoun County's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-1. As for Randolph-Clay, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
