Recap: Calvert Cavaliers vs. Fallston Cougars
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Calvert Cavaliers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 36-0 victory over Fallston. The win was familiar territory for Calvert who now have seven in a row.
Calvert had a senior duo take command as Domaine Wallace Jr. rushed for 197 yards while picking up 7.0 yards per carry and Dajuan Robinson threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns.
Calvert has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Fallston, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Calvert will face off against Forest Park at TBD on Friday. Forest Park will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Calvert is ranked 18th). Fallston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
