Volleyball Recap: Siloam Springs Takes a Loss

Siloam Springs lost against Conway back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Wampus Cats. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Panthers haven't been shut out since back in August.

While Siloam Springs ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

Siloam Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Conway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Greenbrier on the 11th. Hopefully Siloam Springs paid attention to the Wampus Cats' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wampus Cats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
