Basketball Recap: Snow Hill Takes a Loss

Snow Hill lost against Wicomico back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Snow Hill Eagles took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wicomico Indians.

Se'Lah Foreman had an outrageously good game for Wicomico as she went 11 for 20 on her way to 26 points in addition to six assists and five steals. Foreman has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 23 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlisa Johnson, who posted 13 points along with six assists and five boards.

Snow Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wicomico, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Snow Hill will head out to face off against Mardela at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wicomico, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
