League recap: Holland throws longest pass in league this season for Centennial

Tee Holland and Caden Herring provided fans with a highlight when they connected against North Forsyth. The connection went for 92 yards, the longest such play in AAAAAA Region 6 this season.

Chase Solomon of Johns Creek ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against South Forsyth last week. Solomon scampered for 74 yards on the play and finished with 111 on the day as his team lost to the War Eagles.

Centennial's dynamic duo of Holland and Herring proved tough for the Raiders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Holland threw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns and Herring had 128 yards receiving. Christian Robinson helped Centennial's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 118 yards.

Grey Overton made the biggest impact on defense this week as Johns Creek fell to South Forsyth. He recorded 1 fumble.

He went 22-33 with 1 interception.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Robinson. The Centennial star has 53 catches for 779 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place South Forsyth takes on second place West Forsyth.

Adding to the longest winning streak in AAAAAA Region 6 this week, Alpharetta beat Lambert 14-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Raiders.
