Soccer Recap: Baton Rouge Drops Season-High Score on West Feliciana

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baton Rouge). Everything went their way against the West Feliciana Saints on Tuesday as the Baton Rouge Bulldogs made off with a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Baton Rouge is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those nine contests. As for West Feliciana, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Baton Rouge and St. Paul's will meet in a canine-themed contest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for West Feliciana, they will be home for the holidays to greet Washington-Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
