After losing to Warren the last time they met, Hillsboro decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hillsboro Indians snuck past the Warren Warriors with a 59-55 win on Saturday.

Hillsboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyra Boyd led the charge by going 6-for-13 en route to 18 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobie Miles, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 16 points and five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Warren lost, don't look at Mackenzie James-McGuire. Despite the final result, she went 9-for-19 to rack up 28 points and six boards. Sarah Pettey was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Warren, they dropped their record down to 10-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Hillsboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-36 loss against Fairfield Union on the 19th. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
