 South Pointe Christian has been on the road for three straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Queen's Grant Stallions at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.
 Last Monday, it was a hard-fought  game, but South Pointe Christian had to settle for  a  7-6 defeat against Non Varsity Opponent.
  Tucker Rodgers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Aiden Arant, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, South Pointe Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .543. That's the best  OBP they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Mecklenburg. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
 South Pointe Christian dropped their record down to 1-4 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Queen's Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
