The home team had won the previous four meetings between St. Louis and Alma, and Alma kept the tradition alive. The Sharks fell 2-0 to the Panthers on Tuesday. The Sharks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Alma, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

St. Louis will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ogemaw Heights at 7:15 p.m. on September 10. After both having extra time off, Alma and Clare will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
