Volleyball Recap: Nordhoff Comes Up Short

Nordhoff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Santa Ynez Pirates. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Nordhoff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Santa Ynez, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coincidentally, Nordhoff and Santa Ynez will both be playing Oxnard the next time they take the court. The Rangers will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
