Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Panthers vs. Parkview Vikings

Palmyra-Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parkview Vikings. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Palmyra-Eagle started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-11, 15-12.

Sahara Boers-Augustine was nothing short of spectacular for Parkview: she had 35 digs and one assist. Those 35 digs gave Boers-Augustine a new career-high.

Palmyra-Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Parkview, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-14.
