Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Washington

With a playoff win on the line, Washington rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Princeton Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. Washington's winning goal came courtesy of Cole McCleese.

The win (which was Washington's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

Looking ahead, Washington will take on Gibson Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
