Basketball Recap: Jefferson Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Jefferson kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 72-47 to the East Helena Vigilantes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since February 1st.

When it comes to explaining why Jefferson lost, don't look at Tyler Frydenlund. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Cobe Burnett was another key player, putting up nine points.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-43 win against Manhattan Christian on the 6th. As for East Helena, they have also already played their next matchup, a 71-43 victory against Havre on the 6th.
