Volleyball Recap: Fort Payne Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Fort Payne came out on top against Scottsboro by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fort Payne also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Fort Payne not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Scottsboro between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Fort Payne's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Scottsboro, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Fort Payne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pleasant Valley on the 28th. As for Scottsboro, they will take on Albertville in a tournament on Saturday.
