Softball Recap: Green County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Green County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Campbellsville Eagles 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory got Green County back to even at 11-11. As for Campbellsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green County will host Bethlehem at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Eagles/Banshees have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Campbellsville, they will square off against Boyle County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
