Baseball Recap: Rainier Beach Comes Up Short

Rainier Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 18-0 to the Lincoln Lynx. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Rainier Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Rainier Beach will square off against Chief Sealth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Seahawks have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln, they will host Franklin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
