Widefield and Harrison are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Gladiators will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Widefield fell victim to Coronado and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Cougars. The loss continues a trend for Widefield in their meetings with Coronado: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Harrison faced off against Canon City on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 6-0. Harrison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Widefield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Widefield skirted past Harrison 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gladiators since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
