Basketball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Takes a Loss

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 84-17 defeat at the hands of the LaFayette Ramblers. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 383rd in Tennessee, while the Ramblers are ranked 186th in Georgia).

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for LaFayette, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for LaFayette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gilmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
