On Monday, Charlestown got themselves on the board against New Albany, but New Albany never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering Charlestown has won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Smith was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia O?Neil, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Gibson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Gibson was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 4-for-4.

In other batting news, Kaitlyn Whitlock was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Riley Whiteman, who went 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI, and a double.
