The Wellington Wolverines will face off against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dr. Joaquin Garcia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wellington, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Wellington didn't have too much trouble with Palm Beach Central as they won 50-33. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Broncos are ranked 92nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Dr. Joaquin Garcia came up short against South Plantation on Saturday, falling 52-31. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wellington pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
