Basketball Recap: Henderson Triumphs

Henderson posted their closest win since February 10, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Downingtown East Cougars out 56-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-50 back in December of 2024.

Henderson now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Downingtown East, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bishop Shanahan the next time they take the court. Henderson will head out to face Bishop Shanahan at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Downingtown East will host them at 6:45 p.m. on January 30th.
