Baseball Recap: High Tech SD Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for High Tech SD, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Pacific Ridge Firebirds 3-2.

High Tech SD's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Ortiz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Adrian Acevedo, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

High Tech SD now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Pacific Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Tech SD will venture away from home to take on Canyon Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will challenge Tri-City Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Firebirds are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
