Preview: Freedom vs. Plant
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Plant. They will challenge Freedom on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Plant have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Freedom might have their hands full.
Plant put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 69-6 victory over Leto. No one put up better numbers for Plant than junior Tucker Gleason, who brought his A game into the match. He threw 3 TDs. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Gleason.
Meanwhile, Freedom suffered a grim 7-37 defeat to Wiregrass Ranch.
Everything came up roses for Plant against Freedom the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 58-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plant since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
