Izayah Ulmer put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2024 on Friday. He rushed for 117 yards and two TDs on only five carries, and also threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. He was up against Burke and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in September of 2024. Ulmer was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.

Ulmer and Scotland/Menno will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Colome at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
