Baseball Recap: Wallkill Takes a Loss

Wallkill was the 18-2 winner over Our Lady of Lourdes when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 10-4.

Wallkill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Franklin, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Wallkill dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Wallkill has already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Warwick on the 9th. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, they will square off against Marlboro Central at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
