Softball Recap: Eatonville Takes a Loss

Eatonville lost against Orting back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cruisers fell 15-10 to the Cardinals.

Grace Field made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Lilah Chapman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Eatonville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Orting, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eatonville will face off against rival Foss at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orting is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Orting sitting on three straight wins and Franklin Pierce on six.
