Football Recap: Paradise Comes Up Short

Paradise lost against Pierce back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats took a 31-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. While the Bobcats had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bears 14-0.

When it comes to explaining why Paradise lost, don't look at Evan Higgs. Despite the final result, he picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 49 yards.

Austin Jorge looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 56 yards and three scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Pierce also got a significant boost from Nate Macintosh, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

Paradise's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pierce, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
