Watauga is a perfect 10-0 against Ashe County since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Pioneers will head out to face off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Watauga's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Freedom. Morgan Flynt was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ashe County got the win against Freedom on Tuesday by a conclusive 4-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ashe County.

Ashe County's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Watauga, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-1.

Watauga was able to grind out a solid victory over Ashe County in their previous matchup back in April, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
