Football Recap: Ponder Wins Going Away Against Iowa Park

A well-balanced attack led Ponder over Iowa Park in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 42-20 margin over the Hawks. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 26-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tyson Price was his usual excellent self, rushing for 122 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries, while also throwing for 201 yards and two touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes. Gage Ersch was another key player, rushing for 138 yards and two scores.

Ponder's record is now 5-2. As for Iowa Park, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
