Basketball Recap: Stowe Takes a Loss

Stowe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 94-53 loss at the hands of the Williamstown Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-51 back in December of 2024.

Williamstown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Bailey out in front who posted 22 points along with seven assists and six steals. Bailey is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed five or more in the last three games he's played. Nick Mascitti was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten boards.

Stowe's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Williamstown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northfield the next time they take the court. Stowe will head out to face Northfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Williamstown will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
