Football Game Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. Holy Cross Indians

The Ludlow Panthers will challenge the Holy Cross Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Ludlow and Bishop Brossart were almost perfectly matched up, but Ludlow suffered a 21-20 loss.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Trimble County, posting a 58-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Ludlow better keep an eye on Charles Oglesby. He was instrumental in Holy Cross' win, rushing for 96 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Ferguson, who threw for 88 yards and three touchdowns.

Holy Cross didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Thomas Maddox and Xavier Thornberry.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Ludlow, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Ludlow against Holy Cross in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 33-6 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
