Basketball Game Preview: Fort Jennings Musketeers vs. Jefferson Wildcats

Fort Jennings is 0-8 against Jefferson since February of 2017 but things could change on Saturday. The Fort Jennings Musketeers will be playing at home against the Jefferson Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fort Jennings took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 41-30 victory over Ayersville. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Musketeers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Lima Central Catholic 54-25. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 23 point advantage.

Fort Jennings' victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
