Soccer Game Preview: Sanger West vs. Sunnyside

The Sanger West Hornets will take on the Sunnyside Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Sanger West and Bullard finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2025 as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Clovis North an easy 6-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

With that draw, Sanger West's record moves to 7-1-6. As for Sunnyside, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-4.
