Softball Recap: Abington Heights Comets vs. West Scranton Invaders
Abington Heights won the last time they faced West Scranton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Comets blew past the Invaders 14-3.
Laurenp Stalica made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.
