Soccer Game Preview: St. Augustine vs. Beachside + Official Tickets

St. Augustine is 0-3 against Beachside since January of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets will square off against the Barracudas at 5:30 p.m.

St. Augustine is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Nease on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time St. Augustine couldn't score was back in November of 2025, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Beachside came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Beachside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Beachside's win bumped their record up to 10-2-2. As for St. Augustine, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-3.

St. Augustine might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Beachside in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
