Hillgrove piles up the points against Douglas County

Recap: Hillgrove Hawks vs. Douglas County Tigers

The Hillgrove Hawks won the last time they faced the Douglas County Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hillgrove blew past Douglas County, posting a 65-38 win on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hillgrove.

Douglas County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Khalid Racine, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds. Racine is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Kelshall, who scored 7 points.

Hillgrove is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Douglas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillgrove will take on Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Campbell is ranked 96th, while Hillgrove is ranked 92nd). As for Douglas County, they will stay at home for another game and welcome South Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. One thing working in South Paulding's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
