Softball Recap: Ballinger Falls to Clyde in First Game of Season

Ballinger had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Clyde Bulldogs, falling 22-0. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The win got Clyde back to even at 1-1.

Ballinger will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sonora at 5:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Clyde, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Dublin on the 15th.
