Basketball Recap: Deering Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After losing to Scarborough the last time they met, Deering decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Deering Rams slipped by the Scarborough Red Storm 50-49 on Saturday.

Deering's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Scarborough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deering will take on Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scarborough, they will square off against Falmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
