            Calvary Baptist Academy is on  an  18-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Sterlington is on  a  six-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end.  Kynzee Anderson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than 11  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Carlie Guile was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run and three  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted  over her last 12  contests. Another player making a difference was  Reese Walker, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Calvary Baptist Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bentonville only posted  an  OBP of  .300.
 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when  Sterlington took on Oak Grove on Thursday. Sterlington came out on top against Oak Grove by a score of  6-1.
 Sterlington's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-0.
 Calvary Baptist Academy skirted past Sterlington  4-3 in their previous matchup  back in March of 2023. Will Calvary Baptist Academy repeat their success,  or does  Sterlington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
