Softball Recap: West Springfield Comes Up Short

West Springfield lost against East Longmeadow back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Terriers lost 13-5 to the Spartans. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for East Longmeadow, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Coincidentally, West Springfield and East Longmeadow will both be playing Easthampton/Hampshire the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Terriers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
