After a string of three wins, Seminole County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 70-51 bruising from the Calhoun County Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Cougars are ranked 35th).

Seminole County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Calhoun County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole County will take on Quitman County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Calhoun County, they will face off against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Calhoun County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
